Rejig | to rearrange, alter, or manipulate

Founded in 2021 by journalist Eleanor Yates, Rejig offers a platform for the handmade fashion community to celebrate their crafts and indulge in curated content from Pinterest, Instagram and Etsy. We also showcase the designers behind the clothes and accessories while giving both the pros and hobbyists a range of content made for them.

Community

We aim to  build a community of like-minded creatives, giving them a platform to learn and consume content curated for their interests.

Social Conscience

Slow fashion and handmade garments take care and consideration for the planet, teaching us to think more about fashion that has longevity and is sustainable for the future of the planet.

Craft

We focus on the techniques it takes to make something by hand. Whether that is knitting, crocheting or sewing, the craftsmanship behind handmade fashion is what we celebrate and focus on.

Innovation

The ideas and creators behind each handmade piece is the reason slow fashion is booming. We appreciate those with the innovative ideas to create new designs and lead us all down a more sustainable path.

From the editor, to you, the Rejiggers

Rejig was founded as a way to connect and celebrate the handmade community. It’s goal is to curate content from Instagram, Etsy and Pinterest, engaging the makers, hobbyists and couture professionals. With direct input from the community itself, Rejig is a platform for all to indulge in the world of handmaking and stay up to date with who’s leading the way and what the current trends are, with some history on the importance of keeping it alive. Rejig’s founder and editor, Eleanor Yates, is a journalist and someone who has always kept up to date with handmade fashion, having learned to crochet and knit at a young age, she understands the talent and craft behind each handmade garment.
